LAN CARGO, an affiliate of LATAM Airlines Group, S.A. and part of South America’s largest airline group comprised of LAN Airlines and its affiliates and TAM Airlines, is constructing the new 98,242-square-foot maintenance hangar facility that includes space for aircraft as well as administrative offices, mechanical and storage areas. The hangar must meet the highest standards of environmental compliance, including fire safety, and will serve the maintenance needs of some of the largest cargo and passenger planes in the world including the Boeing 777-300 and Airbus A350 aircraft.

South Florida based companies Lemartec Engineering and Construction Corporation and architecture firm Perez & Perez Architects and Planners are engaged for the design and construction of the project overall.
